Royal loves to pull the seat out of the computer chair. Unfortunately, the fabric it was covered in was only pinned on, so there were exposed pins that he could potentially stick himself with. We always had to break his heart and take the seat away. Today I realized that I got a "girl" tool kit for Christmas (don't know why I didn't think of this before), and it has a little staple gun in it. I also realized that I have a bunch of material and fabric, so I should just recover the seat. And this is how it turned out.
I love this vintage fabric, and it goes great with the other vintage floral patterns in our living room. None of the floral is matching, but they all compliment each other, which I love. Here is the original fabric, which I liked a lot too, but this new pattern meshes better.
