She's a little runaway

Michael doesn't work on Friday's usually, so today he told me to take off, get out of town, and runaway. So, what's a girl to do with no responsibilities, no baby, no nothing holding her back. Go to Savannah of course. I jumped in the car and with my new freedom, I stopped by McDonald's and got a Iced caramel coffee w/extra caramel on my way out, and then I hit the road. I went straight to Barnes and Noble (I love B&N), and spent about 2 hours in there. I perused the baby books, Christian living section, craft books, journals, daily planners, cookbooks, bestsellers, and even the psychology section. My last stop was the music area where I hunted down the new Phoenix album. It's amazing! This was a present for Michael really and luckily I got it because it was the last one they had. I bought a book for me as well. It's called Bringing Up Boys by Dr. James Dobson. I can't wait to read it.After that I made my way farther south side to look for some fabric from Hancock's. I have been making some buntings for people (birthdays, decorations, nurseries etc.) It started when I made one for Royal for his birthday and then I got some requests, so I was on the hunt for some cheap and cute fabric. I didn't find anything because it was all $2.95 a yard and up. Oh, well. After I left, I realized I did not eat anything for lunch (I was to busy in B&N) so of course I ate something completely unhealthy. I went through Wendy's and ordered off the dollar menu. It felt like college. ha. I was planning on going to Once Upon a Child, but the sky was dark with rain clouds and I was not wanting to spend anymore money, so I headed home. It was fun just getting out, running around, and consuming terrible food, and I am very thankful to my hubs for letting me runaway, even just for the day.
